Summary:
One of World War II's engineering feats was Thailand's 250-mile River Kwai, built by Allied POW's and laborers, of whom more than 100,000 died. The project became a top target for Allied AZON bombs-radio-controlled precursors to "smart bombs." Survivor accounts and modern science blend with reconstructions, archival footage, and rare photographs to recount the railway's birth and death. Cadet Frank Nelson speaks publicly about the bombing.
