Summary:
Amid the highland forests and savannas of southeastern Venezuela lies an isolated wilderness, which was the inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous adventure novel, "The Lost World." It is a place that hosts an alien world of plant and animal life, evolved in its own unique way. One of its many high, remote and virtually inaccessible plateaus, or "tepuis," is the source of Angels Falls, the world's tallest waterfall.
